Year of Shakespeare Stand Up for Shakespeare Festival

Ohio State University and the UKs Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) have joined in an international partnership that focuses on guest artist residencies, professional development for local K-12 teachers, and teaching-artist training. At the core of this landmark collaboration is the RSCs innovative Stand Up for Shakespeare manifesto: See It Live Do It on Your Feet Start It Earlier.

Please join us to celebrate the culmination of the third year of our ongoing partnership by attending the Young People's Stand Up for Shakespeare Festival, May 11 and 12, 2012.  Special public events will take place at the Drake Performance and Event Center at OSU.  Click the link below for full details on the Festival, including a schedule of events and ticket information for the Young People's performances of Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet.
